    WHAT IS THE RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY?

    Mastani offers returns on full priced and sale items when garments are returned within 14 days of your in-store purchase date or within 14 days of receiving your online order.

    Returns are processed within 3 working days of arriving back to Mastani.

    Items in an ARCHIVE SALE or marked FINAL SALE in the product description are unable to be exchanged or returned, unless faulty.

    WHAT IS A PRE-ORDER?

    Mastani offers pre-orders on certain products allowing you to reserve and buy a piece before it is available in stock. A delivery or shipping window will be provided in the item’s online description.


    Pre-order payment is taken in full at the time of purchase. One of our team will be in touch with you to confirm the details and delivery date once you place your order. Once your item arrives in-stock, we ship it out to you.

    Our standard SHIPPING and RETURNS policies apply to pre-orders, including 14-day returns from date of receiving your online order.

    DOMESTIC

    Mastani offer free standard domestic shipping within Australia. Upgrade to express shipping is available at checkout.


    INTERNATIONAL

    Mastani offer a flat rate of $30 standard shipping worldwide. Upgrade to express shipping is available at checkout.


    FREE EXPRESS ON ORDERS $500+
    Orders of $500 or more automatically receive free express worldwide shipping.

    Mastani does not deliver to international PO Boxes.

    HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

    Domestic orders will be processed within a 1-3 business day period.

    Depending on the destination, international orders may take up to 10 business days. For location specifics and express services please contact Mastani directly at armadale@mastani.com.au

    HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

    Once your online order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirming the courier service and tracking number.

    DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

    Yes, Mastani does ship internationally, although the receiving address must not be a PO BOX.

    Mastani offers a size range from an Australian 6 to 16 in our ready-to-wear collections. Click here to see our size guide. We also offer a made-to-measure and bespoke order service for custom sizing and styles.     MY SIZE IS NOT AVAILABLE, WILL IT BE RE-STOCKED?

    Stock availability is dependent on each garment.

    As our fabrics are handmade, some silhouettes have limited availability and can not be remade. For more information on our Bespoke Order service please contact Mastani directly via armadale@mastani.com.au or +61 3 9822 5595.

    WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS?

    In store Mastani accepts VISA, Mastercard, AfterPay and AMEX. A 3% surcharge applies to AMEX transactions.

    Our eBoutique accepts all major credit cards, as well as PayPal and AfterPay. If your nominated credit card is declined by your financial institution, we will not be able to deliver the goods. We will contact you to inform you that your order will not be placed.

    Orders placed before 3pm AEST on weekdays are shipped the same day. 

    Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are shipped the next business day.

  • Returns

    FULL PRICE & SALE ITEMS:

    Mastani offers returns on full priced and sale items when garments are returned within 14 days of your in-store purchase date or within 14 days of receiving your online order.

    Returns are processed within 3 working days of arriving back to Mastani.

    Refunds are processed back via the original payment method.

    Mastani can also offer exchanges, subject to product availability at the time.

    Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returned garments to Mastani.

    We recommend using a traceable postal service as Mastani will not be responsible for return parcels lost in transit.

    PRE-ORDER ITEMS:

    Items marked as PRE-ORDER in the product description are entitled to the same returns policy as full priced items. See above.

    ARCHIVE SALE & FINAL SALE ITEMS:

    Items included in an ARCHIVE SALE or marked as FINAL SALE in the product description are unable to be exchanged or returned, unless faulty.

    CONDITIONS OF RETURN:

    Garments must be returned unworn and unwashed in a saleable condition. This means that they should be clean, with original tags attached and in their original packaging, with no deodorant, perfume or makeup stains. Any returns garments that don't meet these requirements will not be accepted.

     

    Shoes must be tried on, on carpeted surfaces before general wear. Returns of shoes will not be accepted if the product has scuff marks or the original shoe box is damaged. 


    Earrings cannot be exchanged or returned due to hygiene reasons.

    E-Gift cards cannot be returned.

    Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping return items to Mastani.


    Mastani reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet the above conditions.

    AFTER PAY PURCHASES:

    If you have purchased using Afterpay and your return qualifies for a refund you will be credited back through your chosen platform. If your return requires a credit note you will continue to make payments until the item is paid for and we will issue you a credit note as usual when we receive the returned item.

  • TERMS & CONDITIONS

    ORDER ACCEPTANCE

    MASTANI reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order. Attempts will be made to contact you in the event of a cancellation. Any money that was received for a cancelled order will be refunded using the original payment method.

     

    PRICING POLICY

    All payments are billed in Australian dollars (AUD). Currency conversions are set by your bank and any further charges in relation to this will be made by your bank.

    All merchandise prices are subject to change without notice.

     

    CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
    When placing an order with MASTANI online you will need to submit your credit card details at the time the order is placed on the website. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm products ordered and the value of your order.

    If your nominated credit card is declined by your financial institution we will not be able to deliver the goods. We will arrange to contact you to inform you that your order will not be placed.

     

    COLOURS

    We have made every effort to correctly display the colours of our products on our website. However, due to the fact that we use flash photography, as well as the variances between computer monitors, we cannot guarantee that your device will display a colour which is completely accurate.   

     

    CANCELLATION

    If you have changed your mind and would like to cancel an order, please contact our Customer Care team as soon as possible. Please note that orders which have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.

    MASTANI own and operate this site. All text, graphics, logos, icons, site design and images on this site are owned by MASTANI.   • CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

    MASTANI requires all operational and production practices to be performed under safe and lawful working conditions. It is important for all of our employees to feel valued and respected. Internally and/or externally, discrimination and mistreatment is never tolerated.

     

    MASTANI Atelier

     

    Situated in Bengaluru, in the Indian state of Karnataka, our atelier is fully owned and operated by MASTINI. Production practices are achieved by a small team of twenty, ensuring every garment is constructed at the highest quality. Complying with an ethical manufacturing environment, workers are provided with;

     

    -           Temperature controlled spaces

    -           Standard working hours (with controlled breaks)

    -           Full access to machinery technicians

    -           Full time cleaners to control waste

    -           Legitimate wages

     

    We are revitalising traditional handmade techniques and because of this our Atelier has attracted local community attention. With an open door policy, we encourage regular visits from local artisans and other members of the community.

     

    Outsourcing

     

    To ensure we are always providing the highest quality materials, some components are outsourced. When and if required, external suppliers must comply with MASTANI’s moral and ethical standards. We make a conscious effort to minimise our external supplier partnerships. Currently our Atelier only receives organic cotton from an approved supply base in India and wool knits from approved Italian suppliers.

     

    Sustainability Practices

     

    We prioritise natural fibres in our fabrics such as silk, cotton, linen and wool. Not only does this add to the quality of our range but allows us to decrease our environmental impact. Natural fibres are biodegradable and free from toxic chemicals.

     

    By specialising in handmade techniques, we have been able to minimise our carbon foot print by substituting machinery with specialised craftsman and artisans.

     

    Our fabrics are of the highest quality and we make every effort to keep wastage to a minimum. This is addressed from the pattern laying stage where we calculate and control the amount of excess material being produced. Excess fabric is not discarded but utilised in the construction of our garment bags. Samples and garments that do not pass quality control are either up-cycled by our Atelier or donated to the members of the local community.

    Garment Care & Repair


    We encourage our customers to prolong the life of their MASTANI garments by treating our specialty fabrics with care, respecting the care instructions and also reducing their impact on the environment by not over-washing them.

    To encourage repairing garments before replacing them, we offer minor mending of your favourite MASTANI pieces that require a little TLC, such as a seam repair, a new zip or a replacement button to restore them. This service is assessed on a case by case basis and may incur a small fee major repairs are required.
