OUR FOUNDER
MASTANI is the vision of Kudrat Makkar, the Founder and Creative Director. Through MASTANI, she wants to take the customers to a journey into the world of the hands that made it and the culture that shaped it.
By using handmade traditional techniques which are inherited by artisans from their ancestors, Makkar's aim is to preserve and revitalise her Indian cultural heritage through the modern lens of MASTANI.

CRAFTED BY HAND
We thrive to preserve and revitalise hand-made and traditional techniques which are often passed from one generation of artisans to the next. For MASTANI, luxury is defined by the detail and unique quality that creating a garment by hand brings.
The essence of MASTANI is the concoction of age-old craftsmanship and modern design excellence with a focus on sophistication and edge. Our artisans are masters in embellishment, hand looming, structure and contemporary silhouettes. They bring to life the design ethos which is to blend tradition and modernity, timelessness and uniqueness. All garment construction is performed in house at our MASTANI atelier.
THE ATELIER
The MASTANI-owned atelier is located in Jalandhar, Indian state of Punjab and consists of a small technical team of seventeen. All garment production is performed in-house, in limited quantities to ensure exclusivity and the finest workmanship.
With a focus on sustainability, MASTANI provides a working environment that promotes strong ethical practices and full-time employment for our team, taking a holistic approach to the welfare of our team and in turn the local community.

The MASTANI MAISON is an intimate expression of the MASTANI world.
A refined destination where craftsmanship, artistry, and timeless style converge, MASTANI MAISON embodies the brand’s evolving vision through a considered and immersive experience.
Created as a space for connection, discovery, and appreciation of exceptional design, the Maison invites you to step inside and experience MASTANI in its newest form.
